Во времена ускорившейся моды мы реже интересуемся, что стоит за конкретными вещами. Сегодня в наше поле зрения попал постоялец стритстайла — сумка Loewe Flamenco.

Мы обожаем следить за ежесезонными трансформациями знаковых сумок Loewe. Модель Flamenco появилась в начале 1980-х: свое название сумка получила из-за сходства с силуэтом платья байлаоры. На протяжении лет сумка обзаводилась новыми размерами и деталями: с приходом Джонатана Андерсона, например, у Flamenco появились морские узлы на кожаных завязках, а монограмма переехала в правый верхний угол. Сегодня сумку выпускают в виде клатча или вместительного тоута. Но есть и непоколебимые принципы: Flamenco шьют вручную из легчайшей и мягчайшей кожи (обычно такую используют для изготовления кожаных аксессуаров), а на один сантиметр материала всегда будет три идеально ровных стежка.

Для коллекции сезона осень-зима 2020 Джонатан Андерсон сотрудничал с японским керамистом Такуро Кувато. Два года назад Кувато победил в Loewe Foundation Craft Prize — конкурсе, который устраивает испанская марка, в поддержку ремесленников со всего мира. Такуро создает магнетические объекты из фарфора, глазури и стали, вдохновляясь традиционными японскими чашами для чайной церемонии. Для показа Loewe художник создал несколько керамических форм: одни разместились по центру платья, как бронежилет, другие, поменьше — на кисточках сумок Flamenco. Увы, эти вещи сделаны только для шоу — в продажу они не поступят (вероятно, из соображений практичности: фарфоровые детали легко разбить). Зато купить можно модели Flamenco с пышными кисточками — их размер и расцветки напоминают об объектах Кувато с шоу.
